Who I Am
My name is Dan Cheek. I’m 26 years old and live in North East Pennsylvania. From 2000 to 2004, I served in the United States Army, serving in both the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (Fort Irwin, CA) and the 2nd Infantry Division (Camp Casey, South Korea). After my honorable discharge, I worked for almost two years as a high speed internet tech at RCN (Wilkes-Barre, PA). Currently, I’m attending Wilkes University full time in pursuit of my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
I am a registered Republican, and have been since 1999.
I started this website because I’m sick of Lou Barletta and his fear-mongering tactics. I feel that he is avoiding the major issues that affect this state and our communities, focusing instead on issues that are much less important. I started this website in order to stand up to him and his misleading tactics.
This website’s mission is NOT to promote or support Paul Kanjorski, but rather, to do everything possible to help make the people of Pennsylvania realize that Lou Barletta is not fit to serve in the United States Congress.
I want this website to be a resource for people. For voters in the 11th Congressional District, this site will provide facts, opinion, and analysis on Lou Barletta that might not be otherwise available. Additionally, I think this Congressional race is important to more than just the constituents of the 11th District. If elected to Congress, Lou Barletta will be in a position to advance his flawed immigration policy, vote on highly important State and National issues, and ultimately help shape the future of this country. Based on his record of incompetent leadership, I feel that electing Barletta to Congress would be a huge mistake. The information on this website, I hope, will prove valuable to both 11th Congressional District constituents and to the rest of the country, as well.
