Sweet Lou needs to be taken to task on how the legal bills will be payed. All he ever does is mention the web site “small town defenders”. Well, it has been made clear that the web site will not be adequate enough to raise the funds necessary to defray the huge legal bills incurred by sweet lou.

Stephanie, thanks for the comment. Lou Barletta did set up the Small Town Defender Fund to pay for Hazleton’s legal defense, and I am aware of that. I even have a link to the site on this page.

However, I am also aware, as apparently you aren’t, that that fund has failed to raise even 1/4 of the money needed to pay off the debt. As it stands, Hazleton still has a legal debt of almost $2.5 million.

Additionally, Barletta has been ignoring the fund, focusing all of his time on trying to get elected to Congress. Simply put, he’s dumped the massive debt on Hazleton, and its tax payers and he’s moved on.

…and clearly Danny Cheek knows little about how the Illegal Imigration fight is funded – not through Hazleton tax-payers. It comes from private funding – Small Town Defenders fund. Danny – you have the right to speak your mind and opinion. Just make sure you use the facts and don’t mislead readers with your claims.
